Dog Lyme Disease

Lyme disease, caused by Borrelia burgdorferi and transmitted by ticks, is increasingly common. Dogs are at high risk due to outdoor activities. Symptoms range from lethargy, appetite loss, and fever to swollen lymph nodes, arthritis, and neurological issues.

Testing and Monitoring: Momentum Diagnostics’ test detects eight antibodies produced at the early and late stages of infection in a single sample with 100% sensitivity. The test distinguishes between vaccination and infection titers. Early detection and treatment are crucial to prevent chronic Lyme disease.

If you find a tick on your dog, test for Lyme disease and follow up after treatment to ensure complete recovery.
