Early Cancer Diagnostics

Momentum Diagnostic offers a test that detects and differentiates 21 cancers and related neurological disorders in pets. This blood/serological test identifies antibodies developed in response to specific tumor antigens developed by cancer cells, aiding early diagnosis and treatment.

Recommended Testing:

  • Preventative screening for pets aged 3+ years (2+ years for cancer-prone breeds), with suspected tumors, post-cancer treatment, or neurological symptoms.

  • Animals with neurological symptoms. Symptoms of neurological diseases related to cancer include weakness, behavioral changes, loss of balance, seizures, disorientation, abnormal gait, muscle tremors, head tilt, voice changes, circling, anxiety, lethargy, and more. These signs necessitate screening for tumors at a treatable stage.

  • Confirming clinical suspicions. In cases where there are clinical signs suggestive of cancer, ordering the Early Cancer Diagnostics test can serve as a valuable tool to confirm the veterinarian's diagnosis. This not only strengthens a medical assessment but also guides the subsequent treatment approach.

  • Timely initiation of treatment: If our test confirms the presence of cancer, your veterinarian will promptly initiate treatment while your pet is still feeling well. By catching cancer in its early stages, you can minimize suffering and improve the quality of life for your pet.

  • Monitoring post-treatment: For patients who have undergone treatment, the Early Cancer Diagnostics test serves as a valuable follow-up tool to monitor the status of the cancer. It provides reassurance and aids in assessing the effectiveness of the treatment approach.
